Tennesseans have more chances than ever to vote Libertarian!

The Libertarian Party of Tennessee has broken its previous candidate record by running its largest number of candidates ever in the 2002 election cycle.

"The LPTN ran 19 candidates for various offices in the 2000 elections, and it was the largest group of candidates we'd ever had up to that time," State Chair Ray Ledford said.

"This year, we've edged up a bit. We're running 21 candidates in all. We had nine LPTN candidates in the August elections, and we have twelve in the upcoming elections this November," he continued.

In addition to the record number of candidates, the 2002 elections have already produced one victorious candidate in Heather Scott's County Commission race, as well as the LPTN's first endorsed gubernatorial candidate, Ray Ledford.
