Ten LPTN members dined with friends in the Tennessee Conservative Union (TCU) at their Reagan Day Dinner in Knoxville on July 31st. Many TCU members are Reagan Republicans who, like Libertarians, advocate the governmental fiscal responsibility that the Republican Party seems to have forgotten as of late.
TCU chairman Lloyd Daugherty was a guest speaker at the 2006 LPTN State Convention, and he regularly hosts a radio talk show called The Voice which airs in East Tennessee from stations in Knoxville and Maryville.
