The Libertarian Party of Tennessee

They needed 6,300 signatures. They delivered over 15,000. They are the Tennessee Tax Revolt (TTR) organization, led by our friend Ben Cunningham.

Because property tax rate increases in the Nashville/Davidson County metro area have far outpaced those in surrounding counties, the citizens have once again revolted. Many simply moved out to a surrounding county. But TTR led a petition drive to put a question on the November ballot so that Davidson County voters can choose whether or not to require all property taxes to be approved by public referendum.

The Libertarian Party of Tennessee salutes Tennessee Tax Revolt for its continued efforts to reduce tax burdens on the hard-working taxpayers of Tennessee.
