I made it (including my picture) into the Sunday (B6) Metro section of the
Chattanooga Times Free Press, in an article titled "Area Voters to Decide 7 State Legislative Races". The really good news is that I was listed as a Libertarian. Brent Benedict also got listed for House
District 29, but as an independent.
I will be speaking (five minutes) at the Kiwanas this Tuesday with my competitors.
I was also on the News (channel 3) over a proposed from yard parking ban in Chattanooga. That story did not mention that I was running for state house or that I was a Libertarian, but a week earlier Trevor [Southerland, HCLP Chair] was quoted in the TFP on the issue of the front yard parking ban. I have posted
some of my comments on my campaign blog.
I have also really kicked the
campaign web site up a notch or two: http://www.lewisdt.com/house26. Among other things, I have had some great endorsements coming in and posted on my web site. Please take a look at the new site if you have not already done so.
The primary is this Thursday, and that means it is about time to crank up the campaign. If you have not made a donation yet, please do so right away. The time to election is going quickly.
Daniel Lewis is the Libertarian candidate for State House District 26
